Wrestling Recipes Week 8 - Priceless Chicken Fingers

One of my all-time favorite snacks has been chicken fingers a.k.a. chicken strips since I can remember. You can imagine how thrilled I was when in the April 2008 issue of WWE Magazine, there was a recipe that took chicken fingers to another level. Thanks to the self-appointed "Prince of Professional Wrestling" Cody Rhodes, this tasty snack combines two childhood favorites...chicken strips and Cap'n Crunch cereal. Enjoy.


PRICELESS CAP'N CRUNCH CHICKEN FINGERS

INGREDIENTS:
*2 Pounds of chicken tenders
*4 cups of Cap'n Crunch cereal
*1 egg
*1 cup milk
*1 cup flour
*2 tsp. black pepper
*2 tsp. garlic powder
*Vegetable Oil

DIRECTIONS:
1) Crush Cap'n Crunch cereal in a bowl and set aside.
2) In another bowl, beat eggs into milk.
3) In third bowl, combine flour, garlic powder and black pepper.
4) Cover chicken in flour mixture and dip into eggs and coat with Cap'n Crunch crumbs.
5) Coat frying pan with vegetable oil and place over medium flame.
6) Cook coated tenders in oil until golden brown on each side [Best served with honey mustard].
