Florida Championship Wrestling Episode #1

Last month, I posted a blog that discussed "The Wrestler's Creed" of Florida Championship Wrestling, the official developmental territory of World Wrestling Entertainment. At the time of that post, FCW had yet to air on national television but had started taping shows to air on television in July of this year. That was until last week.
On Oct 2, it was reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com that FCW would debut Oct. 5 on the Brighthouse Sports Network at 6 p.m. The channel is available to those who are Brighthouse Cable subscribers in the regional area but not to those who are satellite customers.
Since I live in Calif., I had no way of seeing this premiere nor did I even know it was airing until the other day when a youtube user posted several segments of the show, including the first match between Shawn Spears and T.J. Wilson.
After watching that match and the cool intro video, both of which you can see at the conclusion of this entry, I was left wanting more and asking myself why the heck isn't Wilson on the main WWE roster?
Another aspect of the show I like is that while it is showcasing future hopefuls of wrestling in today's era, the show has that old-school vibe to it with the sound stage that is reminiscent of the old World Championship Wrestling studio that had the various country flags around the ring and even better is having Dusty Rhodes on commentary.
Think about it....Sunday night wrestling at 6 p.m. with Dusty Rhodes on commentary. I feel like a four-year old fan again and that's a good thing.
As promised and as a special bonus, here is the ENTIRE first episode of FCW in chronological order, courtesy of youtube user "KaceCC." Enjoy!
